An 81 year old lady will be doing her second 15,000 ft tandem skydive on Saturday 6th September, raising awareness of and vitally needed research funding in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease.
What makes the lovely Mary Bates even more remarkable, she is the mother of Stuart Bates and Spencer Bates, very sadly losing her son Spencer (Spenny) to MND. She vowed to her son she would do all she could to raise awareness of the truly awful disease which took her son’s life. Mary is more than fulfilling her promise to Spenny.
