From Portishead to Leeds, across seven counties in seven days, the MND777 Challenge has officially crossed the finish line—and what an unforgettable journey it’s been.
Between 5th and 11th May 2025, an incredible team of runners took on the monumental task of completing seven marathons in seven days, all in support of four vital motor neurone disease charities:
- Leeds Hospitals Charity
- The Mel Evans Foundation
- The MND Association
- The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation
Inspired by Kevin Sinfield CBE’s tireless efforts in the fight against MND, this year’s challenge united communities, raised vital awareness, and generated life-changing funds to support those affected by this cruel disease.
Each mile run was a tribute—to loved ones lost, to those still fighting, and to the hope that one day we’ll find a cure. From the quiet roads of Somerset to the emotional finish at the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon, the spirit of this challenge has been one of resilience, teamwork, and unrelenting determination.
We want to thank every runner, supporter, volunteer, and donor who made the MND777 Challenge possible. Your commitment, generosity, and belief in the cause have made a real and lasting impact.
Together, we ran for those who can’t—and we’re not stopping here.
