SITraN Ground-Breaking Ceremony

I was honoured to represent the Mel Evans MBE Foundation at the ceremonial ground-breaking of the new SITraN building — a powerful step forward in the fight against neurological diseases like motor neurone disease (MND).

This new development will expand SITraN’s world-leading capabilities to research neurological diseases and accelerate the translation of that research into real treatments and potential cures for those living with these devastating conditions.

Huge thanks to the team behind this inspirational project for the invitation and warm welcome. A special shout-out to Cleggs for the crash course in bricklaying and to everyone who helped all invitees look the part in our hard hats, hi-vis, gloves, and steel toe boots! It is safe to say the Construction industry is safe without me in it!!!

It was special to share this opportunity with Laura Ellis, the PhD student who is working on a large research project funded by our Foundation. We are proud to continue supporting the incredible work happening at SITraN and look forward to all that this new building will make possible.
